This program can accommodate students from Grade 8-12, and uses the standard high school scheduling with CEAP’s distributed learning courses. Hours spent at the dance studio thought the ADP program, combined with after school dance classes, are used as credits for a number of course credits. The dance and dance education hours can amount to a minimum of 2 course credits, and the CEAP school hours can amount for 2 more course credits of choice. Please contact your school councillor or principal to inquire about the academic portion of this program.
ADP follows the same calendar as KSS, when school is not in session ie. pro-days, there will be no ADP classes unless otherwise stated. ADP classes will be on Monday, Wednesday and every second Friday from 12:00-3:00pm. The studio will open at 11:30 for dancers to get ready and eat lunch.
Classes in the weekly schedule (below) include, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Broadway, Ballet and Dance Education. Day program dancers participate in all of these classes. There will be 3 different standards of dance classes. Please contact the office to inquire about this program.
